accessorizing

Like any proper lady, LIA knows the value of a well-placed accessory. And if you notice, she's learned some new moves since we left her!

Little lady

The hoarder in me mourns the passing of seasons a little because babies so quickly outgrow beautiful outfits such as this one. L.I.A. had no place special to go today, but it's 80 degrees in November (thanks climate changers!)and we had to get more mileage out of this adorable dress.

L.I.A.'s new hat

One thing I didn't know about girl babies is that they make people want to cover them in hand-sewn/knit/crocheted articles. L.I.A. has been blessed with many blankets, sweaters, and this latest piece of adorable from Mama's hallmate Mrs. Darlene, who made hats for the whole family.

Church Date

We're not sure if Max and Ashley actually made it to church, but he sure was stylin'! This is the rest of his Sunday Best from Aunt Sharon.

it must be the shirt. Max's take on the suit with no tie? The tie with no suit. NB: Max makes these fashion decisions for himself. If you think Max would let Mama and Daddy wrangle him into a tie just for pictures, you haven't met him. Clearly, he is wary of suburban toddlers everywhere biting his style and didn't want me even documenting the outfit.

Max's reverse take on the ubiquitous "suit and sneakers" look is the casual outfit with his best shoes.

Sunday Finest

Thanks Aunt Sharon, for the digs! Max wore the tie on Mother's Day morning, although Mama slept right through that ... Then for Valerie's graduation, he wore the rest!
