toddler epidemiology

I was wondering why there were only 4 kids in Max's classroom when I went to pick him up yesterday (mid-fire drill, which is a story in itself).

Well I got a clue sometime after Max started throwing up. and up. and up some more.

We're keeping him home today for public health reasons but he's a champion.
