"big boy"

Afternoon at the babysitter's house. Mrs. Paul has Max in her lap and pretends to feed him a bottle

MRS. PAUL: You're a baby!

MAX: No I'm not, I'm a big boy!

MRS. PAUL: Yes you are, you're a baby!

Max leaps up and performs a dizzying array of jumps, spins, and rolls.

MAX: Babies can't do that, big boys do that!

visitors

We had a lovely visit from Grandpa's friends (and secret blog readers) Shirlyn and Danell.  They brought lovely gifts for L.I.A. (and hairbows for those who can't tell that pink skirt = girlchild) and a puzzle for Max, who watched as we put it almost all the way together, then came through with the last piece for the win. Thanks ladies!
