Gorilla DNA

Max enters with a small gorilla-shaped vial full of brown liquid

MAX:  I have some gorilla DNA.  If you drink it, you will turn into a gorilla.  I can drink it because I already have spider DNA in me, and spiders bite bears.

Today a member of the Vanderbilt Women's Basketball team was reading a Curious George book to Max's class, and I was privileged to witness this exchange:

BBALL PLAYER: do any of you have any pets?

MAX: We do! We have a goldfish and a pigmy marmoset!


I'm sorry to report that me cracking up in the back caused Max some embarrassment. I'm sorry Max. That was the best story I've heard all day.
