Daddy got a new camera and is taking most excellent portraits!

Last weekend we were joined by Max and LIA's great aunts and uncles, Uncle Freddy and Tante Jo and Uncle Charmant and Tante Guilou. Then later we got a surprise visit from cousin Oscar, who brought World Cup 2010 gear all the way from South Africa, via Tante Darly.

Grandpa was home for a weekend from Haiti and we went for ice cream.  LIA had her first taste of Max's dark chocolate with marshmallows and still managed to look graceful in her chocolate mustache.  

And now, a somewhat tangential conversation with Max:

Evening at the babysitter's house

MAMA: Hurry up Max, we need to get home because I have something on the stove.

MAX: Why?

MAMA: Because if we leave the oven on too long we could burn down the house, and then where would we live?

MAX: In Haiti with Grandpa!
