Grandmere-gram

Dispatch from Florida:

It was delightful having Max a little bit. He ate his five course lunch like a dignitary. First course soup: mixture of two soups one with water cress and pear, the other one was my new soup made with all white vegetables: white eggplant, white asparagus, navet, white of the leeks, choufleur, nappa cabbage. He ate it to the last drop. His second course was the tomato, cucumber, hearts of palm salad with my garden herbs dressing: parsley, three kinds of basil, two kinds of mint. He graciously declined the tomatoes but heartily chewed the cucumbers with the incisives (his only chewing tools at this time). However his very favorite course was the bowtie pasta with pesto sauce. He had seconds. The toblerone tablet for a finish did not displease him either.
Enjoy the pics. Love, Mom

PS. Along with his new toy, he knows how to count to five but in " Maxism". His very own language which we (poor) grownups are unable to grasp, however since he added illustration to the counting (with his fingers) I know it was a coherent language.
